Child Dental Benefit Scheme (CDBS)

Child Dental Benefit Scheme (CDBS)

The Child Dental Benefit Scheme (CDBS) provides $1,052 of Medicare funded dental treatment over a two-year calendar period for eligible children.

Check-ups, x-rays, cleaning, fissure sealants, fillings and extractions are among the services provided.

Children whose parents hold a Health Care Card or who receive an eligible Centrelink payment may be eligible for the CDBS. All parents can check their eligibility for the CDBS via the Services Australia website.

Good health starts with what you put in your mouth!

Poor oral health can not only ruin your teeth, but lead to various other chronic and life-threatening conditions, as well as unnecessary pain, suffering and potentially expensive treatment.

School holidays can be the perfect time to book your child in for a general dental check-up. You can call our helpful staff on (03) 5134 1311 to see if your child is eligible under the CDBS.
